The Libertyville Police Department recently announced the addition of a new utility terrain vehicle (UTV) to its fleet, thanks to a donation from Jeff and Cindy Harger.
The department said the gift will enhance its ability to respond to emergencies, patrol hard-to-reach areas, and serve the community during events and special operations.
"The village and department are grateful for the support and partnership from Jeff and Cindy," the department said in a statement. "Their generosity helps the department to continue to protect and serve with even greater efficiency and reach. "
The department said it will provide updates as the vehicle is put into service.
