Barrington 220 has established a Social Media Awareness & Digital Citizenship Advisory Committee to enhance digital citizenship among students. Throughout the year, the committee worked on developing a district-wide process aimed at promoting healthy and informed digital citizenship.
District leaders recently announced at a Board of Education meeting that new guidelines will be introduced in the upcoming school year. The district intends to provide more details about these guidelines before the start of the school year.
