District 113 superintendent reflects on school year and upcoming strategic plan

As the 2024–2025 school year concludes, District 113 Superintendent Dr. Chala Holland extends her gratitude to students and families for their support and partnership throughout the year. In her first year as Superintendent, Dr. Holland expresses appreciation for the warm welcome she received from the community.

Reflecting on recent graduation ceremonies, Dr. Holland notes they were a "powerful celebration of our students’ resilience, achievements, and bright futures." She emphasizes the importance of these events in highlighting the strength of the communities that support each student's journey.

Looking forward, Dr. Holland shares that the Board of Education will soon vote on a new strategic plan. This plan is described as being shaped by community voices and built on a shared commitment to "cultivate passion, unlock potential, and inspire excellence for every learner."
