Starting Wednesday, July 2, there will be daily road closures on Slocum Lake
Road from Brown Street to Osage Street. This section of the road will be
closed from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., with an exception on July 3 when it will close
at 3 p.m. to ease holiday traffic. These closures are necessary for
construction crews to install a storm sewer as part of the Bangs Lake Outfall
Project.
Signs indicating "no thru traffic" will be posted in the area. The work is
expected to conclude by Friday, July 11.
