Dear Beach Park Middle School Families and Staff,

The community is welcoming Autumn Parrish as the new Assistant Principal for the 2025-2026 school year at Beach Park Middle School. This appointment marks a homecoming for Parrish, an alumna of Beach Park schools, having attended Newport, "Big Beach," and Kenneth Murphy Jr. High.

Parrish has accumulated extensive experience in Lake County as an assistant principal, where she led instructional teams and supported school improvement efforts. Her background includes curriculum and instruction, adult learning, and change leadership. She has worked on systems-level projects in MTSS and various educational roles that have strengthened her commitment to inclusive practices.

She looks forward to engaging with the BPMS team to learn about their goals and to foster a school culture where students are challenged and supported. Parrish emphasizes collaboration among educators as crucial for meaningful change.

Outside her professional life, Parrish is a mother of three children: Ollie (11), Fritz (3), and Harper (1). Her hobbies include gardening, crocheting, reading, crafting, and writing. A fun fact about her personal life is that her husband David was once her classmate in Mrs. Martinelli’s sixth-grade class.

Dr. Denise Wilcox, Superintendent of Beach Park Community Consolidated School District 3, invites everyone to welcome Autumn Parrish to the BPMS team.

Yours in Partnership,

Dr. Denise Wilcox

Superintendent
