A mosquito batch collected on July 8, 2025, in Lake Bluff has tested positive for West Nile virus. This marks the first confirmed case in the Village this year.
Residents are advised to protect themselves and their families using the 4 Ds of Defense: Drain standing water, Defend with insect repellent, be aware that Dawn & Dusk are times of high mosquito activity, and Dress in long sleeves and pants.
