Free adult education classes offered at Woodland Intermediate through College of Lake County

Registration for free adult education classes at Woodland Intermediate School will begin on September 2, 2025, at 5 p.m. The classes are offered through the College of Lake County (CLC) and are available to adult learners at no cost.

The registration and testing process may take up to three hours, and childcare will be provided. Participants are required to bring a picture ID and their CLC student number. New students who have not previously taken classes at CLC are encouraged to apply online before attending registration. For additional information, individuals can call 847-543-2485 or 847-543-2872.

Classes available include a High School Diploma (HSD/GED) class in Spanish, which will meet on Tuesdays and Thursdays from September 16 to December 4, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. English as a Second Language (ESL) courses will be held on Mondays and Wednesdays from September 15 to December 8, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m., as well as on Tuesdays and Thursdays from September 16 to December 4.
