Lake Forest Community High School District 115 has expressed gratitude to Toned Yoga and other sponsors as alumni prepare to celebrate the school’s 90th anniversary on September 20.
According to Lake Forest High School, the celebration will take place on Saturday, September 20, from 1:00 to 5:00 p.m. at the Gorton Center parking lot. In case of rain, the event will be moved indoors. The festivities will include live performances by several bands, such as the Nic Barnum Band, Mirror Images, and The All-Star Band, all featuring LFHS alumni from various graduating classes. Food and beverages will be available for purchase from vendors like Duffer’s Pub, Snowie, and Gerhard’s European desserts. Attendees can reserve tickets online at a discounted rate, with free admission and parking for children under ten.
"Our community is at the center of everything we value at Toned Yoga," said Madeline Fasel/Zonino (‘13). "LFHS—whether it be the students, staff, sports teams, alumni, etc.—has supported us from day one!"
Lake Forest High School was established in 1935 as a public secondary school in Lake Forest, Illinois. It serves grades 9–12 and emphasizes mutual respect, high expectations, and a sense of belonging. Approximately 95% of its students pursue higher education through personalized instruction and a collaborative school environment. The school serves the communities of Lake Forest, Lake Bluff, and Knollwood under the motto "Pursuits become habits."
Lake Forest Community High School District 115 caters to around 1,500 students from Lake Forest, Lake Bluff, and Knollwood in grades 9–12. According to Lake Forest Schools, the district offers diverse academic programs including advanced placement courses and specialized electives. Students also have access to athletics, performing arts programs, various clubs as well as career pathways and community service opportunities. Feeder schools include Deer Path Middle School and Lake Bluff Middle School along with several private and parochial institutions in the area.
