West Elementary staff attend cooperative learning workshop to boost classroom engagement

West Elementary School teachers recently attended a two-day Kagan Cooperative Learning workshop. The training included interactive activities such as Quiz Quiz Trade, Timed Pair Share, and Team Coach. These exercises were designed to provide educators with strategies to increase student engagement, promote teamwork, and improve academic performance.

West Elementary is one of several schools within Zion Elementary School District 6, which serves Lake County and also includes Beulah Park Elementary School, East Elementary School, Elmwood Elementary School, Lakeview School, Shiloh Park Elementary School, and Zion Central Middle School.
