Lake Forest Schools have announced that on Thursday, September 11, 2025, they will hold the annual Lake Forest High School Parent Open House. This event offers families an opportunity to meet faculty, learn about courses, and tour newly renovated spaces.

According to Lake Forest Schools, details for the LFHS Parent Open House include limited campus parking. Parents are encouraged to use shuttle buses from the Lake Forest and Lake Bluff train stations between 6:00 p.m. and 9:30 p.m. Freshman parents can attend a brief meet-and-greet with counselors from 6:30 p.m. to 6:45 p.m., including Laura Stetson, Brittni Tengler, Molly Lamick, Liz Hannon, Dan Panfil, and Megan Miles. Individual student schedules will be sent via BrightArrow on September 8, and parents are asked to bring a printed copy.

The Open House is scheduled from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., featuring 10-minute class periods with 5-minute passing times. Parents can visit school psychologists and social workers in the cafeteria or check out parent organization tables in the commons. These organizations include the Association of Parents and Teachers, LFHS Foundation, Boosters, PALS, and Applause. The LFHS Booster Spirit Store will offer Scout gear near the main entrance while coffee and snacks will be available to support the Junior Class and Prom.
