Homecoming Week at Tri-Valley High School will begin on Monday, September 22. The highlight for students and the community is the Homecoming Parade and Pep Rally scheduled for Thursday, September 25, at 6:00 pm.

Organizers have outlined several procedures to ensure safety and smooth operations during the event. Participants are asked to be dropped off at the elementary school and walk to the parade line-up area. Vehicles will not be allowed where participants are lining up.

The parade route will start from Dooley Park, proceed north on Lincoln, turn east on Garfield, head south on Cleveland, and finish east on Washington. Line-up begins at 5:30 pm in Dooley Park or along Lincoln Street behind the marching band and court convertibles.

Groups interested in joining the parade can contact Shari Riley with questions. All entries must wait until reaching the front of the middle school parking lot before unloading or dispersing to help prevent congestion and ensure safety.

Class floats can be left in a grassy lot near the high school's main entrance after the parade. Parking is available in designated school lots at the unit office, high school, or middle school. Organizers request that attendees do not park in front of buildings or along narrow roads to keep routes clear for floats and other entries.

Candy should not be thrown in the high school parking lot due to cleanup concerns; continued issues may lead to a ban on candy throwing during future parades.

Following the parade, there will be a Battle of the Bands event in the high school commons area and a Pep Rally in the gym. In case of rain, both events will take place inside starting at 6:00 pm while the parade would be canceled.
