Lake Forest Schools have announced that Lake Forest High School (LFHS) teacher and author Jimmy Juliano will present his new novel, "13 Months Haunted," at the Lake Forest Bookstore on October 18.
According to Lake Forest Schools, Juliano will host the event on Wednesday, October 15, from 6 to 7 p.m. The session will feature a book signing and refreshments. Juliano's debut novel is being developed for television, and he is recognized for his engaging stories that have captivated readers globally. Attendees can RSVP by calling 847-234-4420.
Juliano has been writing since childhood, beginning with fan-fiction and early creative experiments. He now focuses on horror and mystery/thrillers, drawing inspiration from books like "Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark" and films such as "Halloween" and "Jaws." His stories have appeared on platforms such as The NoSleep Podcast, NoSleep Live Tour, and the NoSleep subreddit. His works include "Uncle Gerry’s Family Fun Zone" and "Why I Didn’t Shower for 21 Years." Both his debut novel, "Dead Eleven," and his second work, "13 Months Haunted," are published by Dutton Books. According to Juliano's website, "13 Months Haunted" follows library clerk Piper Lowery as she befriends a strange girl named Avery Wallace, only to uncover dark forces surrounding her.
