In a statement, the district said, "We want to make sure everyone’s received the message: the Chili Cook-Off originally scheduled for September 14, 2025 has been cancelled. Thank you again to all who volunteered—we appreciate your enthusiasm and support." They added, "We’re looking forward to making new memories together soon!"
