Leaf vacuuming services for single family homes are set to begin the week of October 20, 2025, and will continue through the week of November 24, 2025.
Residents are instructed to rake leaves into a pile within three feet of the curb while keeping them off the street. Large tree branches, grass, or brush should not be mixed with leaf piles as these materials can damage the vacuum truck.
According to officials, "Please be aware that due to the volume of leaves any particular week, the leaf collection truck may not arrive at your home the same time each week. Pickup will start at 6:30 a.m. and will be scheduled for Mondays. If there is bad weather on a Monday, they will be picked up another day. Please contact Groot at 847-693-2700 with any questions."
The final yard waste pickup for this season is scheduled for November 29, 2025.
