Students at United Township High School District 30 received several updates and reminders on September 26, 2025. The cafeteria menu for the day included bacon cheeseburgers and breaded chicken patties served on whole grain buns, oven baked French fries, mixed green salad, and assorted fresh fruit.

A transportation update informed students that those taking the bus after school should note that the second run of Bus 27 students will ride with Bus 29 during its second run at dismissal.

An announcement highlighted an upcoming international trip: "UT is going to Germany, Austria, Hungary, and Slovakia in June 2027! Classical and traditional music. Breathtaking mountain landscapes. Architecture that will leave you awed and charmed. If these are a few of your favorite things, then this Europe tour will be music to your ears. In our session, we'll cover everything from how this opportunity will benefit you, what's included in the experience, how we'll keep the trip safe and affordable, and much more. Learn about this incredible opportunity on Tuesday, September 30th, at 6:00 pm in the Commons! RSVP by scanning the QR code in your student or parent email, or on the posters above the drinking fountains. This will also make you eligible for a $200 discount and place you in a raffle for a $500 scholarship! See you Tuesday, September 30th! Find Mr. Greer with any questions."

Guidance counselors reminded seniors interested in retaking the ACT that it would be offered at UTHS on October 17th. Seniors were asked to sign up at the counseling office by day's end and to contact Mrs. Whitcher with any questions.

It was also noted that AP testing sign-up is underway; students enrolled in AP classes should register with their teachers while others can visit the counseling office for registration sheets.

Club activities included an informational meeting for students interested in joining the speech team: "There will be an informational meeting for those interested in joining the speech team today at 3:15 in 224E. The speech team consists of 14 events across four categories: public speaking, acting, limited prep, and book. Competitors gain experience with poetry, radio broadcasting, political/economic discourse, and much more. There is something for everyone! Come learn more about our state qualifying team next Friday after school in 224E. See Mr. Greer with any questions."

The Panther Players announced their fall production: "The Panther Players have been working hard on our fall production: an evening of One-Act Plays. We have three wonderful short plays that explore traditional folklore, gender, and old age. It's not something you will want to miss! Come see 'Wiley and the Hairy Man', 'A Jury of Her Peers', and 'Any Body for Tea?' today, September 26th through Sunday, September 28th in the auditorium. Student tickets are $7 and can be purchased by scanning the QR code on the flyer or at the door. See you then!"

Link Crew Leaders were reminded to check their email or Remind app regarding a cookout form.
