The American Legion Vernon Post 1247 will begin hosting monthly bingo nights starting October 9. The games will take place on the second Thursday of each month at the Vernon Hill Municipal Golf Course Clubhouse, located at 291 Evergreen Drive. Games are scheduled to start at 6:30 p.m.
The event is open to all members of the community, and refreshments will be available for purchase. Proceeds from the bingo nights will go toward supporting veterans through the efforts of the American Legion Vernon Post 1247.
Organizers note that bingo has moved to Thursday nights, with upcoming dates set for November 13, December 11, January 8, February 12, March 12, April 9, and May 14.
