Lake Forest Community High School has announced that educational technologist and author Jimmy Juliano will celebrate the release of his new thriller, "13 Months Haunted," with an in-person event on Wednesday, October 15, 2025.
According to Lake Forest High School (LFHS), attendees are invited to join Juliano from 6 to 7 p.m. at the Lake Forest Book Store, located at 662 N. Western Ave., for a discussion of his latest novel. The event will include a Q&A session and a book signing, with copies available for purchase. Refreshments will be provided. Juliano is known for his viral Reddit "NoSleep" stories and his debut novel "Dead Eleven," which is currently in development with A+E Studios.
Juliano has been writing since childhood, beginning with fan-fiction and early creative experiments. He now focuses on horror and mystery/thrillers, drawing inspiration from books like "Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark" and films such as "Halloween" and "Jaws." His stories have appeared on The NoSleep Podcast, NoSleep Live Tour, and the NoSleep subreddit, including "Uncle Gerry’s Family Fun Zone" and "Why I Didn’t Shower for 21 Years." Both his debut novel "Dead Eleven" and his second book "13 Months Haunted" are published by Dutton Books. According to Juliano's website, "13 Months Haunted" follows library clerk Piper Lowery as she befriends a strange, isolated girl named Avery Wallace, only to discover dark forces surrounding her.

Lake Forest High School was established in 1935 as a public secondary school in Lake Forest, Illinois, serving grades 9–12.
