Lake Forest Community High School District 115 has announced that the Lake Forest High School (LFHS) theater program will present its fall play, "Trap" by Stephen Gregg. Performances are scheduled for October 16–18.
According to LFHS, the fall play, directed by Sara Dreiling with Dawn Neal as assistant director, will be staged at Raymond Moore Auditorium. Doors will open at 6:30 p.m., and the show will start at 7 p.m. The production follows a high school play where all audience members lose consciousness except one, and the story is presented through live reenactments and interviews, creating a suspenseful mix of fact and fiction. Tickets are available online.
The play narrates a mysterious event in which everyone in a high school audience falls unconscious except one person. Presented documentary-style, it uses interviews with witnesses, family members, first responders, and investigators to explore the incident. The theater ensemble combines suspense and creativity for an immersive experience. According to a Lake Forest Schools news release, the play includes loud noises and frightening content and is recommended for ages 13 and older.
