Residents have been notified of elevated lead levels found in water samples taken from locations with known lead service lines or plumbing. The Village issued a Tier 1 Public Notification, indicating that the lead action level has been exceeded.
The notice is available in both English and Spanish, informing the public of the situation and providing resources for more information. Residents are encouraged to learn more about lead sources by visiting the Environmental Protection Agency’s website at https://www.epa.gov/lead.
