Ms. Bernard’s class at Elmwood Elementary recently conducted an experiment to learn about chemical reactions by building rockets powered with water and Alka-Seltzer. The activity allowed students to gain practical experience, even though not every rocket launched successfully. According to the school, "While not every rocket made it off the launch pad, every student gained hands-on experience and a spark of scientific curiosity."
