D181 schools mark Halloween with costumes and assemblies across all campuses

Students and staff across all nine schools in Hinsdale Community Consolidated School District 181 participated in Halloween celebrations on October 31, 2025. Elementary schools held class parties with games and music, and students took part in costume parades through the hallways. Teachers also joined by wearing costumes.

Walker School organized an assembly featuring "the Headspin Guy," while The Lane School hosted a magician for their event. Middle schoolers at Hinsdale Middle School and Clarendon Hills Middle School wore group costumes with friends, contributing to the festive atmosphere.

A district spokesperson stated, "We're thrilled to report that all celebrations were safe and filled with joy. We hope everyone has a fun Halloween night!"

Hinsdale Community Consolidated School District 181 serves DuPage and Cook counties and includes Clarendon Hills Middle School, Elm Elementary School, Hinsdale Middle School, Madison Elementary School, Monroe Elementary School, Oak Elementary School, Prospect Elementary School, The Lane Elementary School, and Walker School.
