Collinsville High drama club schedules November shows featuring over seventy students

More than seventy students at Collinsville High School have been preparing since August for a series of drama productions scheduled for November. The CHS Drama Club is organizing these performances, and the community is encouraged to attend and support local theater.

The Collinsville Community Unit School District 10, which includes Collinsville High School, serves both Madison and St. Clair counties. The district also encompasses several other schools such as Caseyville Elementary School, Collinsville Middle School, Dorris Intermediate School, Jefferson Elementary School, John A. Renfro Elementary School, Kreitner Elementary School, Maryville Elementary School, Summit Elementary School, Twin Echo Elementary School, and Webster Elementary School (https://www.illinoisreportcard.com/).

Collinsville Community Unit School District 10 employs 418 teachers with an average salary of $60,392 before pension contributions. Of these teachers, 81 percent are women and 19 percent are men. There are no teachers in the district with more than ten absences in a school year (https://www.illinoisreportcard.com/).

The student population in the district is made up of 56 percent White students, 14.1 percent Black students, 24.1 percent Hispanic students, and 0.5 percent Asian students (https://www.illinoisreportcard.com/).
