The Village of Deerfield board of trustees will meet Monday at Village Hall.
The major business of the meeting will be to approve the 2016 tax levy and the Lake County Watershed Development Ordinance, which is required in order to stay in compliance with new federal regulations and to be adopted by communities across Lake County.
All communities that adhere to the ordinance will continue receiving insurance through the National Flood Insurance Program that trades local governments' comprehensive disaster insurance In exchange for maintaining a baseline of preventative measures.
The board will also consider several permitting measures, including a special use permit so that the Fire Department can proceed with plans for a new roof for the Deerfield Fire Station.
Other items to be considered include permitting renovations at the Deerbrook Shopping Center, a special-use amendment for Jewel Osco Grocery Store and a drive-through pharmacy.
The meeting is scheduled for 7:30 p.m.
