The Lake County Clerk's Office has announced an extension of the "I Voted" sticker design contest deadline to Friday, November 14. The contest invites students from kindergarten through 12th grade to submit original artwork celebrating civic participation.
According to the Lake County Clerk's Office, this year's contest theme is "Lake County Votes," and entries must include the hashtag #LakeCountyVotes and use the colors red, white, and blue. Students under 18 are required to submit a permission form. Entries can be submitted by mail or in person at the clerk’s office in Waukegan. Winners from each grade category will receive gift cards ranging from $25 to $100, while the grand prize winner will earn $125 and have their design featured on the official 2026 sticker. The winning design will be revealed on December 1.
"We are excited to once again encourage young artists across Lake County to participate in this contest," said Anthony Vega, Lake County Clerk. Vega added that although young residents may not yet be able to vote, the contest aims to encourage them to engage in civic life.
