Ricardo Luevanos will be approved as a full-time telecommunicator by the village of Winthrop Harbor at its 7 p.m. meeting Tuesday at 830 Sheridan Road.
In his role with the village, Luevanos previously served as a part-time community service officer in the Marina area, having been first appointed and approved by the board in 2010.
Mayor Robert Loy will formally present the resolution approving Luevanos’ status along with a resolution to adopt an official standard of 1,000 hours for participation in the Illinois Municipal Retirement Fund.
Also on the agenda will be the approval of previous meeting minutes from Jan. 19 as well as any pending matters.
In new business, the Finance Committee will present a report regarding an accounts payable warrant for 2015-2016 in the amount of $213,338.41, and the meeting will allot time for public hearings and any unfinished business prior to adjournment.
