Deerfield’s Appearance Review Commission will meet at 7:30 p.m. Monday to tackle outdoor furnishings and fence proposals, frontage improvements and other architectural touches at Deerfield Village Hall, 850 Waukegan Road.
Requests from four different establishments along Deerfield Road and Waukegan Road will be examined at this workshop meeting. Making headway on a previously submitted proposal, the commission will hear updates on a request by the Starbucks branch located at 675 Deerfield Road, regarding outdoor fixtures, fencing plans and furnishing choices.
Also up for approval is signage for Wheelpower Studio, a boutique fitness center offering indoor cycling and sculpting classes at 49 Waukegan Road; a preliminary review of exterior façade improvements for the 636 Building, a freestanding one-story brick building at 636 Deerfield Road; and building elements and wall signage for Roti Modern Mediterranean, a casual restaurant, located at 720 Waukegan Road.
As always, a public comment session will allow visitors to introduce any items not already listed on the evening’s agenda. Additionally, items from the commission and staff will be heard as introduced, and the commission will approve previous meeting minutes from Feb. 8.
