From fire hydrants to finance, Round Lake’s Committee of the Whole covered pending contracts, community development and capital improvements Monday, convening at Village Hall.
The committee first heard reports from Community Development, the village Clerk’s Office, Human Resources and Finance before launching into a discussion covering public works, facilities and pending engineering projects.
On the table were suggestions to sell at auction a Kubota tractor along with its attachments; municipal contracts to engage vendors for crack sealing, street sweeping, pavement marking and hydrant painting; and a preliminary design engineering report for a Central Lake County Joint Action Water Agency receiving structure.
Additional business included water and sewer code changes, a conversation on capital improvements and the 2017 draft budget.
A period for comments, remarks, questions and new business preceded an executive session and adjournment.
