At its next meeting, the Highwood City Council will consider a proposed resolution in which the city would enter into an agreement with seven other regional municipalities to create a Joint Emergency Telephone Systems Board.

The meeting will occur at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday in City Council Chambers.

The board also will consider a complementary ordinance that would delete part of the Municipal Code: Title 2, Chapter 5 -- "911 Emergency Telephone Systems Board."

The board also will consider a motion to accept a bid from Schroeder and Schroeder for the 2016 Sidewalk Replacement Program, with a bid cap of $25,000.
