Gurnee Village Board considers plan to create pension-funding system

At a recent meeting, the Gurnee Village Board considered a proposal to create a pension-funding system for city workers.

The Gurnee Village Board includes six trustees, the village president and the village clerk. All are elected at large on staggered four-year terms every two years. Meetings are held at 7:30 p.m. on the first, third and fourth Monday of each month at Village Hall, 325 N. O'Plaine Road.

Approval of the minutes from the June 20, 2016 and June 27, 2016 Village Board meetings.

Approval of Ord. 2016 - adopting a Pension Funding Policy for the Village of Gurnee.

Approval of Res. 2016 - establishing certain property of the Village of Gurnee to be surplus.

Approval of awarding the Fire Station #2 Apparatus Floor Replacement project to L&A Crystal at a cost of $38,500.00.

Approval of awarding the 2016 Server Refresh & Storage Expansion Project to the low bidder, CDWG, at a cost of $51,026.13.

Approval of awarding the 2016 Network Equipment & Maintenance Project to the low bidder, CDWG, at a cost not to exceed $72,000.00.

Approval of Payroll for period ending June 25, 2016 in the amount of $764,193.30.

Approval of Payroll Transfer Journal for period ending June 25, 2016 in the amount of $756,799.81.

Approval of Bills for the period ending July 11, 2016 in the amount of $1,095,858.27.
