Lake Forest Plan Commission discusses Cultural Corridor

At a recent meeting, the Lake Forest Plan Commission discussed redevelopment plans for the Cultural Corridor, the area east of McKinley Road and south of Westminster.

1. Introduction of Commissioners and staff – Chairman Ley.

2. Consideration of minutes from the May 12, 2016 meeting.

3. Introduction – Background and preliminary discussion of a comprehensive

redevelopment plan for properties within the Cultural Corridor, the area

located east of McKinley Road and south of Westminster. Consideration of

development parameters, opportunities and limitations in preparation for the sale

of the City owned property located at 361 E. Westminster, within this area.

procedures outlined below. In the spirit

of fairness to all parties, any of these

procedures may be modified for a

particular item at the discretion of the

Chairman.

the Commission.

3. Presentation by the Petitioner - not

to exceed 20 minutes.

4. Identification of Issues by Staff -

not to exceed 5 minutes.

5. Questions or requests for

clarification from Commission to

Petitioner or Staff.

6. Public Testimony - not to exceed 5

minutes per speaker.

7. Opportunity for cross examination.

8. Staff response to public testimony -

not to exceed 5 minutes.

9. Petitioner rebuttal - not to exceed

10 minutes.

10. Final questions from Commission

to Petitioner or Staff.

11. Commission discussion and

comment

12. Commission Action

Mandatory Adjournment time - 11:00

p.m.

The mandatory adjournment time can be

extended by a vote of the Commission or

at the discretion of the Chairman.
