Youth-basketball evaluations for the Round Lake Area Park District's upcoming league season will take place Oct. 23 and Nov. 6 at Park School, 400 W. Townline Road, according to rlapd.org.
The schedule for these mandatory evaluations is the same on each date: 9-10 a.m., grades 1-2 coed; 10-11 a.m., grades 3-4 coed; 11 a.m.-noon, grades 5-6 coed; noon-1 p.m., grades 7-8 boys; and 1-2 p.m., grades 7-8 girls.
Participants should register for only one date.
To ensure competitive balance, players will be distributed among the teams based on evaluations. Coaches will set the practice times and will get team information to players by Dec. 3. Teams each will have one game and practice session each week. A valid email address must be available upon registration; all league-related communication will be done through email.
