Jon stated that the Mayor has concerns of the lack of maintenance in the ROW’s for Lake County and the State. He would like to talk about the possibility to take over the mowing of them. Unsure if we could re-coop the costs involved, and Mark O. stated that we would have to purchase new / certain equipment in order to do this. Jon stated he will continue to monitor the situation and even move forward with appealing the Lake County Forest Preserve Finance Committee. Mark also suggested writing a letter. Don asked if we have any cooperation agreements with LCDOT or IDOT, and Jon state that no we do not.

Jon attended and IDNR meeting yesterday and believes there is a federal funding source to assist in paying for intake storage tanks in Zion.
