Mettawa Public Works Committee will meet at 6 p.m. Wednesday, March 8.
The function of the PWC committee is to manage the administrative infrastructure, permitting and engineering functions of the Village. Key reoccurring projects for thisPublic Works committee include: reviewing all engineering bills, permitting, work-permit inspections, roadway and culvert maintenance, signage, winter salt and plowing and mosquito abatement. The PWC interfaces with various contractors, Village engineering, the Village attorney on all bidding programs, and other Committees within the Village. The Public Works Committee meets each the second Wednesday of each month at 6:00 PM or following the Parks and Recreation Committee.
