Kevin W. Graham, a Chicago police officer in the running to be president of the Fraternal Order of Police (FOP) owns a home at 11 Cornell Drive in Lincolnshire, according to a Chicago Sun-Times report.
The Chicago Police Department has a Chicago residency requirement. Living outside the city is a fireable offense.
A review of Lake County property records published by Blockshopper.com confirms that Graham bought the Cornell Drive home with his wife, Patricia A. Graham, on June 19, 2013 for $617,500. Graham is also listed on Lake County Assessor records as an owner of the home.
Graham denies he lives in the Lincolnshire home. He says his wife lives there, but he doesn't.
Blockshopper records show Graham paid $16,115 in property taxes on 11 Cornell Drive in 2015.
Kevin Graham and his wife are both currently registered to vote at 1900 W. Ohio St., Basement Apartment, in Chicago's First Ward, according to Illinois State Board of Elections records.
Kevin voted in the general and primary elections from that address back in 2016, according to ISBE.
Patricia is also registered at her Lincolnshire home, she is recorded as having voted in the 2014 and 2016 general elections and both Democrat primaries. She voted in the 2012 general election and Democrat primary at the Ohio St. address.
Graham previously owned a home at 6310 N. Leroy in Chicago's Edgebrook neighborhood. He bought it on Oct 24,1996 for $205,000 and sold it on May 3, 2013 for $390,000.
Graham paid $4,875 in property taxes his last year owning the Edgebrook home.
