Here is the minutes as provided by the Board:

CALL TO ORDER

THE REGULAR BOARD MEETING OF THE VILLAGE OF ROUND LAKE WAS CALLED TO

ORDER BY DAN MACGILLIS, VILLAGE PRESIDENT AT 7:00 P.M

1. ROLL CALL

Present: Trustees Foy, Frye, Kraly, Mandelman, Newby, Patel

Absent: None

2. PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE

3. APPROVAL OF MINUTES

3.1 Approve the Minutes of the Regular Meeting of March 20, 2017

Motion by Trustee Mandelman, Seconded by Trustee Foy, to approve the Minutes of the

Regular Meeting of March 20, 2017. Under discussion Trustee Newby commended and

Thanked the Clerk for doing such a great job on the minutes. Upon a unanimous voice

vote, the Mayor declared the motion carried

Motion by Trustee Newby, Seconded by Trustee Foy, to do an Omnibus approval on items

5.1, 5.2, 5.3, 5.4, 5.5, 5.6, 5.7, 5.8 & 5.9

Upon the call of the roll, the following voted:

Ayes: Trustees Foy, Frye, Kraly, Mandelman, Newby, Patel

Nays: None

Abstain: None

Absent: None

Mayor MacGillis Declared the Motion carried

5.1 Approve Accounts Payable in the Amount of $347,301.94

5.2 Approve Payroll for the Period Ending March 19, 2017 in the Amount of $140,566.17

5.3 Adopt a Resolution Approving a Quote from Hall Signs for the Purchase of 215 Speed

Limit Signs in an Amount not to Exceed $2,602.00

Approved – Omnibus Vote

5.4 Adopt a Resolution Renewing the Lake County Bulk Rock Salt Bid for the Winter of

2017-2018 with Morton Salt at $60.22/ton for 1,300 Tons

5.5 Adopt a Resolution Approving the Purchase of a Portable Gas Powered Post Driver from

Russo Power Equipment in an Amount not to Exceed $2,744.00

5.6 Adopt a Resolution Approving a Quote from Decatur Electronics for the Purchase of a

Decatur OnSite 75M” Pole Mounted Solar Speed Sign in an Amount not to Exceed

14.1 Mayor’s Comments

Mayor MacGillis reminded everyone to vote tomorrow and then spoke about the

Election Process stating that it had been difficult, rewarding, a lot of work but he is glad

to be part of the process. He thanked the League of Women’s voters for holding the

debate, WRLR and Comcast for recording it and mentioned that the whole experience

has been rewarding.

14.2 Trustee’s Comments

Trustee Newby commented on the passing of Jack Eiler who had performed at several of

our Home Town Fest events. His services will be held in Wauconda

Trustee Foy moved, seconded by Trustee Frye to adjourn. Upon a unanimous voice vote, the

Mayor declared the motion carried and the meeting adjourned at 7:07 P.M.
