GRAYSLAKE PARK DISTRICT: Summer Park Improvements

Grayslake Park District recently issued the following announcement.

The Grayslake Park District is busy working to improve your community parks! Projects planned for this summer include:

Sunrise Park – Court Replacement Project

The Tennis and Basketball Courts are being replaced in Sunrise Park (the playground is scheduled for replacement next spring). The project has already started and is expected to be completed by June 15. The project includes pavement replacement on the courts, along with new fencing, net posts, basketball hoops and wood fiber surfacing.

Cambridge Park – Playground Replacement Project

Some exciting changes are coming to the Cambridge Park Playground (located in the College Trail Subdivision)! The playground equipment is being replaced, along with installation of new benches, additional drainage and new wood fiber surfacing. The project starts this week and is expected to be completed by June 15, with plenty of time to enjoy the new playground this summer!
