Round Lake Area Park District issued the following announcement on June 15.
The Round Lake Area Park District and the Best Kindergarten Readiness Committee are proud to once again offer this FREE program for parents with children 3-5 years old.
Students will enjoy fun learning activities led by a preschool teacher. Families will also receive FREE early learning materials to take home and continue learning. Parents or caregivers must stay on-site during the program.
Parents will:
- Learn important kindergarten readiness skills to teach your child at home and what is needed to register your child for kindergarten
- Receive a FREE developmental screening for your child (available for children, ages 0-5)
- Register for Head Start and learn about organizations and services available for preschool age children
