Round Lake Area Park District issued the following announcement on Sept. 24.
Thanks to all the families that came out and celebrated Family Fishing Day with us.
Many of you came early and eager to start the event, which is always great to see.
First and foremost, our objective is to get families out in nature learning how to fish.
The beauty of this day, is that we ALSO see many families relaxing, spending quality time together - free from digital devices.
What a perfect weekend. Thanks to the Huebner Fishery Management Foundation for making these days possible, and we hope to see you at more fishing events in the future.
