Grayslake Park District recently issued the following announcement.
The Grayslake Park District is excited to celebrate our 60th Anniversary in 2019! The Grayslake Heritage Center and Museum is helping us celebrate by featuring the Grayslake Park District as their rotating exhibit for the year.
We’re turning to you – the community – to help gather pictures, stories, and artifacts to include in the Park District exhibit.
Do you have old pictures from Park District programs or events? How about pics from preschool field trips, of your kids playing at the playground, the Daddy Daughter Dance, or Little League Soccer games? What about old dance recital costumes or T-Ball trophies?
Share your memories with us! Can’t find pictures? Share stories instead! Submit your stories, pictures, and memories to Dana Olson at dolson@glpd.com.
