With less than a week left before voters go to the polls, Northbrook state House candidate Jonathan Carroll received another $9,019 from Illinois House Speaker and Democrat Party Chief Michael Madigan (D-Chicago) between Oct. 18 and Oct. 26, state filings show.
The Madigan funding was disclosed in reports filed with the Illinois State Board of Elections (ISBE) by Friends of Jonathan Carroll, the campaign committee that supports Carroll’s race against Republican Mary Battinus in the 57th District.
The district covers all or part of Arlington Heights, Buffalo Grove, Des Plaines, Mount Prospect, Northbrook, Prospect Heights and Wheeling.
