Governor race: Republican Rauner wins voter tally in Benton Township Precinct 58

Bruce Rauner led Democrat JB Pritzker in votes cast in Benton Township Precinct 58 for the gubernatorial race, according to the latest vote count.

Rauner appeared to outpace Pritzker by a margin of 5 percent on Tuesday in the precinct.

In comparison, the 2014 winner, Republican Bruce Rauner, won by a margin of 25.6 percent in that jurisdiction, beating Democrat Pat Quinn, who received 152 votes to Rauner's 261.
