Village of Mundelein issued the following announcement on Dec. 19.
The B-box or outside water service valve is owned and maintained by the Village of Mundelein. These B-boxes are typically located in the parkway or Village right-of-way for every residential property.
Please Note: Only Village of Mundelein personnel may operate this valve. Plumbers, contractors, and homeowners are subject to penalties if they attempt to access any B-box.
If you need this valve turned off to address any plumbing issues at your residence, please contact the Water Division at 847-949-3273 prior to any scheduled repairs.
