Village of Mundelein issued the following announcement on Jan. 18.
Congratulations to the Mundelein Park and Recreation District for receiving the prestigious “Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in Financial Reporting (CAFR)” from the Government Finance Officers Association for seven consecutive years.
The Certificate of Achievement is the highest form of recognition in the area of governmental accounting and financial reporting. “Its attainment represents a significant accomplishment by a government and its management,” the Government Finance Officers Association stated in a prepared press release. Great Job!
