The campaign committee of mayor candidate Lisa May, Citizens for Lisa May, returned a $100 contribution from Tracy and Rich Adams on July 17, according to the Illinois State Board of Elections.

Candidates sometimes refuse or return contributions because they do not want their campaign to be affiliated with the donor. Adams has not made any other contributions to Lisa May in the past 12 months.
