Q1 2019 Legislation: Sen. Terry Link sponsors or co-sponsors 48 bills

Sen. Terry Link (D-30) sponsored 33 bills in the first quarter of 2019, eight less than the average Illinois state senator, and was added as a co-sponsor on 15 bills, 28 less than the average, according to a Lake County Gazette analysis of data made available by the Illinois General Assembly.

During the first quarter, 59 senators sponsored legislation, with Sen. John J. Cullerton (D-6) sponsoring the most with 626 bills. There were 59 senators that co-sponsored legislation, with Sen. Laura M. Murphy (D-28) co-sponsoring 154 bills, more than any other senator.
