Waukegan Police Department issued the following announcement on Aug. 2.
The City of Waukegan plans to file an application with the U. S. Department of Justice for the Edward Byrne Memorial Justice Assistance Grant (JAG) Program FY 2019 Local Solicitation in the amount of $40,688 allocated as follows:
Waukegan Police Department: $24,412
Zion Police Department: $8,138
Lake County State’s Attorney’s Office: $8,138
