ILLINOIS STATE HOUSE DISTRICT 62: Yingling Highlights Senior Shopping Hours

62

Illinois State House District 62 issued the following announcement on April 9

To protect residents that are most vulnerable to the novel Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19), state Rep. Sam Yingling, D-Grayslake, is raising awareness for special shopping hours at local grocery stores.

“It is vital that we show compassion to those individuals most at risk of this serious disease,” Yingling said. “Our senior citizens and others that are high-risk need to be able to get essentials like groceries and cleaning supplies. That’s why several local stores are hosting these special shopping times.”

Special shopping hours are specially designated shopping times for at-risk populations such as senior citizens. Yingling is highlighting local grocery stores participating in special shopping hours, such as ALDI, located at 74 W. Rollins Rd. in Round Lake. Additional information regarding special shopping hours can be found at: http://irma.org/covid-19-senior-shopping/

“I implore any residents that are at an increased health risk of COVID-19 to take advantage of these special shopping hours to protect yourself and shop safely,” Yingling said. “During difficult times like these, we need to look out for one another.”
