Central Warren Fire Protection District responded to 29 calls in 2018 - 31 percent less than the previous year, according to data from the National Fire Incident Reporting System.

The calls in Central Warren included 28 fires - eight structure fires, six vehicle fires and 14 other fires.

In all, the department saw $25,500 in fire loss - or about $911 per fire.

The department also received one false call.

The calls resulted in two civilian non-fire injuries and one civilian non-fire death.

The Central Warren Fire Protection District had an annual budget of $151,310 in 2018.
