Adlai E. Stevenson High School District 125 Board of Education met Nov. 4.

Here is the minutes provided by the board:

ROLL CALL

President Frost called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. On roll call, Mr. Frost, Mr. Weisberg, Mrs. Agrawal, Mr. Gorson, Mrs. Neault, Mrs. Shang and Mrs. Moons answered. Also, in attendance were Superintendent Twadell, Mr. Carney, Mr. Gobble, Recording Secretary Adamczyk and 90 guests.

VISITORS’STATEMENTS

A total of 17 public comments were submitted and read by Recording Secretary Adamczyk:

Meredith Rosland – Plan for winter sports (Basketball).

Katya Belferman – In-person learning.

Robin Schoolman – In-person learning.

Brett Smith – Construction costs and allocation of dollars for PPE. Viviana Zimmerman – In-person learning.

Michelle Brezek – In-person learning.

Linda Pinsel – In-person learning.

Tricia Jette – Survey for in-person learning. Chris George – Survey for in-person learning. Megan Rogers Schultz – Hybrid model. Kristin Keevins – In-person learning.

Sandy Simons – In-person learning.

Vicki Morelli - Survey for in-person learning. Diane Sigalos – Survey for in-person learning. Nicole Grimes – In-person learning.

Richard Hunt – Survey for in-person learning. Craig Gimes – Social media platforms.

APPROVAL OF SURVEILLANCE TESTING AGREEMENT WITH SAFEGUARD SCREENING (PILOT)

Mr. Weisberg moved, seconded by Mrs. Agrawal that the Board of Education approve a contract with SafeGuard Screening for pilot surveillance testing at a cost not to exceed $50,000.00, pending attorney review. On roll call, Mr. Weisberg, Mrs. Agrawal, Mrs. Moons, Mr. Frost, Mr. Gorson, Mrs. Neault and Mrs. Shang voted aye. The motion carried unanimously.

ADJOURNMENT

Mrs. Neault moved, seconded by Mr. Weisberg that the meeting be adjourned. By voice vote, the motion carried unanimously. (9:02 p.m.)
