Report: Lake Bluff School District spent $20,658 per student in 2019-20

Spending per pupil at Lake Bluff Elementary School District 65 was up 8.7 percent from five years ago, according to the Lake County Gazette analysis of the latest Illinois schools report card district finances.

The Illinois State Board of Education 2019-20 report card showed the Lake County school district spent $19,012 per pupil in 2015-16. It spent $20,658 in 2019-20.

The district's enrollment rose from 888 to 891 students over the same period.

Lake Bluff's spending in 2019-20 was 42.5 percent higher than the state average of $14,492.
